Why I'm Running

I am a data-driven community leader. My focus is to fund Public Schools, critical to providing our youth with real opportunities to thrive.

Get Updates

What a rollercoaster this past week was! Ups and downs, quite a few loops, and definitely queasy moments. No one could have predicted the events of 2020, but I’m glad we stuck together. I am grateful for the friends made, lessons learned, and for every vote earned.

We did not succeed in winning a seat in LD25, but I am proud to say we left it all on the field. We worked and voted for our lives and our livelihoods.

With the victory at the top, we can look forward to a brighter tomorrow. There is still plenty of work to be done here in Arizona and around the US, and I will be right there with you as always.

I remain an activist, a Precinct Committeeperson, and your neighbor.

My team and I will meet in the next few days to wrap up the campaign's data, and decide on our next steps. We will keep you posted.

With gratitude,

Suzanne Hug

Fighting for our kitchen table issues

Our leaders are disconnected from our everyday life, from our kitchen table discussions. I don't feel heard by them. I've talked with a good deal of people who agree that our voices aren't in the halls of power right now.

We’ve settled for too long. Mediocre or worse has become normal, and we’ve forgotten to demand more. It's time to elect the fresh, agile leadership that our community needs now.
